Directions and principles of cooperation were the main subject of the talks between Polskie Elektrownie Jądrowe, Westinghouse Electric Company and Bechtel in Washington, DC. In the near future, Memorandum of Understanding between PEJ, Westinghouse and Bechtel is planned to ultimately allow to formalize the selected cooperation model in the form of a consortium.

Spurt of North America LNG Projects Get First-Quarter OKs to Proceed
Bechtel Energy received a notice to proceed for the engineering, procurement and construction of Sempra Infrastructure’s estimated $13-billion LNG export terminal in Port Arthur, Texas, the developer said March 20 after making a final investment decision for it to come online in 2027 and 2028. The two-train project could create 5,000 construction jobs, Bechtel Chairman and CEO Brandan Bechtel said.
