First Nuclear Power Plant in Poland to be Built in Pomerania. It will be Designed by Westinghouse-Bechtel.
[Published in Polish; use browser translation for English.] The consortium of Westinghouse, Bechtel and Polskie Elektrownie Jadrowe plans to sign a contract for design work for the first Polish nuclear power plant in Pomerania. Westinghouse’s Kowalik enmphasized that Bechtel has built over 80 nuclear reactors in the U.S., and Westinghouse has proven AP1000 technology and 130 years of experience.
