Building the future of the microchip supply chain
Bechtel is designing, building, and commissioning a new advanced semiconductor manufacturing facility in New Albany, Licking County, Ohio. Partnering with NABTU, Bechtel is creating new construction jobs and training programs with local Union Training Centers and on site.
The Project site will construct a microchip factory that is 2.5 million square feet, including 600,000 square feet of cleanrooms. To complete the complex build, the site will have several thousand building trades workers at its peak.
Apprentice labor – up to 30% of our construction professional staff – is a key component of this project.
