Intergen Completes Financing on 790-Megawatt Rijnmond Energy Facility in the Netherlands
InterGen announced the financial close of the Rijnmond Energie Center, a highly efficient 790-megawatt (MW) natural gas-fired, combined heat and power facility located in an industrial zone of Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Rijnmond will be the first independent power plant in northwest Europe since the 1996 European Union Electricity Directive.
