Located in the Republic of Marshall Islands, the U. S. Army Kwajalein Atoll/Reagan Test Site is designed primarily for ballistic missile defense testing and space surveillance operations.
The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command selected KRS for the Kwajalein Atoll/Reagan Test Site contract on September 25, 2002. Two other bidders filed protests in early October, and the GAO upheld the selection of KRS on January 14, 2003.
KRS will provide technical services for the missile testing and space surveillance missions as well as complete logistics and infrastructure solutions to support the U. S. Army Kwajalein Atoll/Reagan Test Site community. These logistics services include procurement and supply, power, water, facility and housing maintenance, schools, recreation, retail, post office, telecommunications, marine operations, and air transportation.
