Matt Jaouhari is the Global Functional Manager of Pipe Stress and PD&P Deputy Chief Engineer. He is a Bechtel Distinguished Technical Specialist, holds a professional engineering license and holds a Project Management Professional license (PMI).

He is an active code committee member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) subgroup design,  American Petroleum Institute (API) task force member, Process Industry Practice functional member of piping, and chair of round table technical discussions at PIP.  

He provides experience in various piping field including pipe stress, vibration (low and high frequency), MDMT, shipping analysis, thermal analysis (hot and cold), flange and bolting, fire assessment, fit for service, and pipe supports.

He has two patents pending, authored/co-authored many papers at various conferences including ASME PVP, ASME VV, etc. He has also received multiple technical grants at Bechtel driving innovation and technologies.
