Yuliana Wu joined Bechtel in 2008 and is the project chartering manager for Bechtel Global Logistics (BGL). BGL is an internal Bechtel resource utilized by projects for leveraging Bechtel’s marine charter requirements across business lines and projects. She is the subject matter expert in chartering and has been the BGL’s project chartering manager supporting the marine chartering program for multi-billion-dollar projects in Australia, the U.S., Middle East, and South America. Her tenure with Bechtel includes previous role as corporate logistics supervisor administering Corporate Logistics Multi-Project Agreements (MPAs) and maintaining the Bechtel logistics agreement and contract of carriage. Yuliana was named as an acting manager of BGL and Corporate Logistics where she’s responsible for managing the logistics operations, providing functional guidance and collaborating with other business unit logistics managers to leverage best practices, work processes, knowledge, and buying power across Bechtel.
Yuliana has over 20 years’ experience of international project logistics, strategic business planning, freight forwarding, and shipping companies. She holds a master’s degree in business administration and international business from San Francisco State University and a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from Tarumanagara University, Jakarta. She has Bechtel certifications as the Traffic and Logistics Manager and Negotiation Ace; the Association of Ship Brokers & Agents (USA), Inc. for Shipbroking & Chartered Vessel Operation; Krabbendam Advies Service’s Heavy Transport & Lifting Masterclass; Land and Barge Transport Heavy Lift Technical; and Project Freight Management.
