Kelley Brown is the Global Communications Sector Lead for Bechtel Infrastructure, responsible for developing and driving our global strategy in telecommunications and smart infrastructure and assessing the impacts of new technologies and emerging digital trends.
Kelley leads the team that provides transformational connectivity solutions for our municipal, utility, and private customers, including 5G deployment and IoT – Internet of things – network modernization. Her responsibilities include cultivating primary industry relationships, developing new opportunities, and facilitating market engagement.
Prior to her current assignment, she was the deputy project manager for one of the largest and most recent fiber buildouts undertaken in the United States.
During her 19-year career with Bechtel, Kelley has led business development, project management, and commercial and supply-chain efforts for communications, renewable, thermal, and nuclear power projects.
She has previously served as executive assistant to the president of the power global business unit. A certified as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt, she also managed the power unit’s global Six Sigma process-improvement program.
Kelley began her career at Bechtel in 2000 as a core team member within the nuclear power major modifications business. She holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and sociology from the University of Maryland in Baltimore County.
