Bechtel Fellows' program

The Bechtel Fellows' program provides senior engineers and scientists who have attained world-class stature in their field of expertise to undertake special assignments and mentoring roles in the company with the goal of: 

  • Championing technical and engineering excellence 
  • Advising management on strategic technical trends that will impact the industry
  • Serving as technical ambassadors in the industry
  • Applying state-of-the-art processes and technology to all projects, including trouble-shooting design and construction issues, and advancing the state-of-the-art in their fields
  • Publishing and presenting their thought leadership at conferences, and providing leadership in relevant professional society committees
  • Serving on expert panels and advisory boards
  • Mentoring technical specialists within the company and assisting with orientation of new hires

Fellows are nominated and selected based on their significant technical contributions to Bechtel and their national or international reputations in their respective fields.
