The Sellafield Site in northwest England was the centre of the UK's nuclear technology starting in the mid-20th century. Today it works with commercial partners such as Bechtel to address the problems of safely retrieving waste stored for decades.

Markets
At the Sellafield Site, the UK government has set out to safely retrieve and package nuclear waste from one of Europe's most hazardous buildings, the Pile Fuel Cladding Silo.
Bechtel customers have included signature megaprojects across the UK, requiring complex project management and supply chain integration. They include power plants, refineries, rail systems, and communication networks, and supporting national defence.
