Brendan Bechtel Elected Chairman of Bechtel Group, Inc.

Chief Executive Officer Brendan Bechtel has been unanimously elected Chairman of Bechtel Group, Inc. (BGI) by the company’s board of directors. Brendan succeeds his father, Riley Bechtel, who served as CEO from 1990 to 2014 and BGI Chairman since 1996. 

Bechtel Launches Long-Term Sustainability Targets

Bechtel Selected to Deliver Major Petrochemicals Project in Egypt

Bechtel has been awarded two contracts by Carbon Holdings of Egypt: one to provide project management services for the Tahrir Petrochemicals Complex at Ain Sokhna, Egypt, and one to build two new polypropylene units at an adjacent site. 

Bechtel Unveils Welding Technology and Training Hub

Bechtel announced the opening of the company’s welding and applied technology center (WATC).  The facility, focused on industry welding innovation and training, represents a critical step forward in the company’s ongoing efforts to continuously improve cost and delivery value for customers.
