Bechtel announced that the company’s Nuclear, Security & Environmental global business unit has achieved key certifications for International Organization for Standardization 14001:2015 for environmental management systems and Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series 18001:2007 for occupational health and safety management.

Bechtel Delivers Largest Greenfield Program in Its 118-year History

Following a six-year global design and construction effort, Bechtel announced it has completed construction of the Curtis Island LNG program with Australia Pacific LNG starting sustained production from Train 2 of its facility. Bechtel has now delivered all six liquefied natural gas (LNG) production trains to three customers on Curtis Island, off the shore of Queensland, just north of the city of Gladstone.
