We Power LLC, a subsidiary of Wisconsin Energy Corporation (WEC) that builds and owns electric generating units, and Bechtel Power Corporation today announced an agreement that settles all pending claims between them regarding the new coal-fueled units that have been under construction in Oak Creek, Wis.

Bechtel Wins SGR Contract at Davis-Besse

Bechtel Power Corporation has been awarded a contract to provide engineering, procurement and construction services for replacing the two once-through steam generators and the reactor vessel closure head at Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station in Oak Harbor, Ohio. Operated by FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC), Davis-Besse is a pressurized water reactor producing 908 megawatts (MW) of electricity, enough to power 450,000 homes.
