Bechtel's Government Business Launches Federal Telecoms Entity
Joining BSII as President of Federal Telecoms is James F.X. Payne, formerly Sr. Vice President of Qwest Communications International, Inc., where he served as general manager for Qwest's operations in the federal government market. "We're delighted to have someone of Jim's caliber take the helm of Federal Telecoms," Hash said. "Jim will provide us with world-class leadership as we continue to focus on Bechtel's growing federal telecommunications market potential." Payne's previous experience also includes management positions at GTE and Sprint. Payne holds a master's of business administration in marketing from George Washington University and a bachelor's of business administration in marketing from Georgetown University.
