Hanford's Environmental Restoration Disposal Facility (ERDF) is celebrating the disposal of five million tons of contaminated materials that came from waste sites, burial grounds, and contaminated facilities located along the Columbia River.   

Usaid Announces the Re-opening of the Tikrit Bridge in Iraq

 In support of the U.S. Government's rebuilding efforts in Iraq, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) today announced the re-opening of the Tikrit Bridge. The bridge is an important link over the Tigris River between the Iraqi cities of Tikrit and Kirkuk. This is the third and final bridge reconstruction along the major transportation routes in Iraq.
