Wireless Facilities And Bechtel Form Strategic Alliance

Wireless Facilities Incorporated, Ltd. (WFI) (NASDAQ:WFII) and Bechtel Corporation announced today that they have formed a strategic alliance to provide turnkey network implementation services for GSM and third-generation (3G) networks in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The companies have also agreed to pursue joint opportunities in select wireless mobility and broadband fixed wireless access markets worldwide.

Lima Airport Partners To Manage Jorge Chavez International Airport

With Cabinet Ministers and key business and community leaders in attendance, Lima Airport Partners, SRL signed a 30-year concession contract to develop, manage, and operate the Jorge Chavez International Airport. Lima Airport Partners is a consortium composed of Bechtel Enterprises International, Ltd., Flughafen Frankfurt Main AG, and Cosapi S.A.

Intergen Completes Debt Financing And Breaks Ground On 1200 Mw Cottonwood Energy Project In Texas

InterGen today announced the financial close of credit facilities for the Cottonwood Energy project, a 1200 MW natural gas-fired, combined cycle power facility. The facility, located south of Deweyville, in Newton County, Texas, will celebrate its official groundbreaking today.InterGen has successfully arranged non-recourse commercial bank senior debt financing for the construction and operation of the Cottonwood Project.
