Bechtel’s Texas solar farm to generate power for 20,000 homes

US engineer Bechtel has completed work on the Cutlass Solar project, a photovoltaic farm capable of providing 20,000 homes with zero-carbon electricity in Fort Bend, southwest Texas. The development will be part of Houston’s electric zone, and will be cut carbon emissions by 300,000 tonnes a year.
