President, Europe and the Middle East Region
Justin Siberell oversees Bechtel’s relations for the company’s Europe and Middle East region. As regional president, he supports Bechtel’s four global business units in delivering projects, building partnerships, and pursuing new opportunities. He is based in the company’s London office.
Justin joined Bechtel in 2020 following a 27-year career in the U.S. Foreign Service, serving most recently as United States Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain. He served as Principal Officer of the U.S. Consulate General in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and completed earlier postings at U.S. diplomatic missions in Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, and Panama. He is a graduate of the State Department’s Arabic language field school in Tunisia.
In Washington, Justin held key roles in the State Department’s Bureau of Counterterrorism, including leading the bureau as Acting Coordinator for Counterterrorism. He also served in the State Department Executive Secretariat, the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, and on the staff of the National Security Council at the White House.
Justin was raised in California and holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California at Berkeley. He and his wife Arnavaz have three children.
