General Manager, Execution & Business Services
Emad Khedr is general manager of Execution and Business Services in Bechtel's Oil, Gas & Chemicals (OG&C) global business unit. Before assuming this role, he was LNG operations manager. Emad was elected a senior vice president in 2007.
Emad’s career with Bechtel spans more than 35 years in a variety of home office and project roles across different markets. His experience includes project management of onshore and offshore petroleum production and processing systems, LNG plants, pipeline systems, and petrochemical plants.
Starting in process engineering within the Pipeline business line, he later became project director for Kuala Lumpur International Airport Aircraft Fueling System project, Joint Development Area gas pipeline project, Pailin and Benchamas gas pipeline project in Thailand, Trans Thailand Malaysia project, Trans Thailand Pipeline project, Optimal Chemical project in Malaysia, and Khursaniyah gas plant project in Saudi Arabia.
Emad also served as general manager of the Petroleum & Chemicals and Pipeline regional business units in Asia-Pacific; manager of Southeast Asia; OG&C global commercial manager; general manager of the Pipelines and Offshore business lines; and manager of OG&C London operations.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Cairo, Egypt.
