Carol Zierhoffer

Carol Zierhoffer is Bechtel’s chief information officer, based in Reston, Virginia.

Carol came to Bechtel in 2013 from Xerox Corporation, where she was vice president and global CIO. Previously, she was vice president and global CIO for ITT Corporation. Carol is a 20-year veteran of Northrop Grumman Corporation, where, between 1988 and 2008, she served as vice president and CIO for three business sectors.

She is also a senior vice president of Bechtel.

Carol is on the board of directors of Vizient, a healthcare performance improvement company, and serves on the audit committee.

Prior to Vizient, Carol served on the board of directors of Med Assets, where she chaired the information technology committee and served on the audit committee.

Carol earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of New Hampshire’s Whittemore School of Business and Economics and a master’s degree in computer information systems from Bentley University in Massachusetts.
