Unit 2 of the Bechtel-Built Prairie State Energy Campus Goes Live Unit 2 of the 1,600-megawatt coal power plant is producing commercial power. The entire Prairie State Energy Campus, including Units 1 and 2, are now online and will supply power for the project’s municipal and electric cooperative customer/members, from Missouri to West Virginia.
