More About Procurement

Area expeditors visit suppliers and their plants to ensure that suppliers complete and deliver equipment and/or materials according to purchase orders, contract agreements, and/or project requirements. Area expeditors also evaluate suppliers’ progress on engineering, materials acquisition, and manufacturing, and initiate timely actions and reports as required to support project schedules. The recruiting center is in Houston, Texas, but the positions are in various locations around the United States.

Supplier quality representatives perform surveillance inspection and supplier surveys, and evaluate quality programs and supplier performance. Supplier quality representatives also verify that suppliers implement polices, procedures, and specification requirements to meet customers’ quality objectives, and furnish material and/or equipment that conforms to procurement documents. The recruiting center is in Frederick, Maryland, but the positions are in various locations around the United States.
