Boy Scouts

 REGISTRANTS The rule for turning in pre-work by the specified date will be strictly enforced. If a Scout does not turn in the required pre-work on time, he will be dropped from the class, unless he contacts the leade counselor and arranges for special consideration, and the next Scout in line will be given the seat. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding.

In the past few years, we have had a problem with Scouts not completing their pre-work and/or dropping out close to the event date. This has left us with empty seats that could have been filled with Scouts who would honor their commitment. Bechtel charges no fee for this event and it is staffed solely by volunteers from Bechtel and their families. There are only two requirements to attend this event: if a Scout signs up, they need to do the pre-work and show up on the day of the event; and to learn and have fun. We appreciate your help in making this happen.  

Who Can Attend
Bechtel Engineering Day is for Boy Scouts who have an interest in science and engineering.

Registration for this event will begin on January 4, 2013 at 7 a.m. E-mails will be taken on a first come, first served basis.

Class Pre-work
Scouts should review the pre-work requirements for classes prior to Bechtel Engineering Day.
