Bechtel has designed and built airports for more than 60 years, helping cities and countries modernize their transportation services. The company has worked on some of the biggest and busiest airports in the world, including Hong Kong International and Miami International. In the past decade alone, we have been involved in more than 30 major aviation projects.
Bechtel is experienced in all aspects of airport design and construction. We build terminals, concourses, and people-movers for passengers, and runways, taxiways, and aprons for aircraft. We also design and build control towers, cargo and maintenance facilities, along with roadways, underpasses, bridges, and other infrastructure.
In addition, we offer feasibility studies, financing, development support, and project management to airport owners and operators, as well as start-up and commissioning services.
Bechtel also is a world leader in expanding and modernizing existing airports to meet the needs of the future.
