Maurissa Douglas Rogers

Maurissa Douglas Rogers is general manager of Bechtel’s offshore business line within the company’s Oil, Gas & Chemicals business, which includes Floating LNG, Subsea projects, and Topsides. She was elected a principal vice president in 2015.

Prior to this role, Maurissa was the senior project engineering manager on the Pacific NorthWest LNG project.
Maurissa joined Bechtel in 1993 as an engineer on the Maraven Refinery Expansion project and spent the next several years in various engineering roles on projects. In 2000, Maurissa became a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and served as a Six Sigma Deployment Champion for the Oil, Gas & Chemicals business. In 2006, Maurissa returned to engineering on the Jamnagar Export Refinery project and worked on the Scotford Oil Upgrader. In 2008, she joined the Queensland Curtis LNG project as an area project engineer, project engineering manager and then the deputy project manager for commissioning, startup, quality, and performance management.

Maurissa received the 2015 Achievement in Construction award from the National Association of Women in Construction, Queensland Australia.

Maurissa holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
