Jeff Sipes

Jeff Sipes is general manager of Bechtel’s Tanks business line within the company’s Oil, Gas and Chemicals business. He was elected a principal vice president in 2015.

Previously, Jeff served as the midstream liquefied natural gas (LNG) manager in the Tanks business line, expanding Bechtel’s business into the non-traditional LNG market.

Jeff joined Bechtel in 2014 after 25 years in the oil and gas industry, serving in various engineering, project management, operations, business development and executive roles in the United States, South America, and Asia. Most notably, he was a group vice president leading business development efforts in Latin America and the Caribbean for a major US contractor, and vice president and general manager for a global cryogenic process systems and equipment provider.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Texas Tech University.
