Powering California with cleaner energy
California Valley Solar Ranch—which is providing renewable energy to approximately 100,000 homes annually. We paid special attention to conserving groundwater and leaving the existing terrain intact to maintain natural iltration systems. This included implementing strict construction groundwater usage and monitoring programs to meet stringent limits in drought-plagued California, and stormwater-management programs to decrease runo for additional conservation. Additionally, we recycled 90 percent of construction waste on the project.
