Bechtel Wins New Nuclear Work in China

Company to Provide Project Management Consulting Services to CNPE

SAN FRANCISCO, April 6, 2012 – Bechtel has signed an agreement to provide project management consulting services to the China Nuclear Power Engineering Company (CNPE), a subsidiary of the China National Nuclear Corporation. Based on decades of global experience in the nuclear industry, Bechtel will provide CNPE with training and education to help the organization enhance its ability to manage nuclear projects.

“The collaboration between Bechtel and China Nuclear Power Engineering Company is an important step in broadening capacity and skills in the nuclear industry,” said Carl Rau, president of Bechtel’s nuclear power business line. “We welcome the opportunity to work with CNPE as it advances its nuclear operations in China and internationally.”
