SAN FRANCISCO, January 17, 2012 — The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has dismissed the complaint Michael Klink filed against Bechtel, saying the evidence did not support Mr. Klink’s claims.
"We respect OSHA’s decision. Bechtel doesn’t compromise on quality, and we strictly enforce rigorous quality control standards on all of our projects. Mr. Klink’s job was to raise concerns, and when he did, they were addressed appropriately," said Michelle Michael, spokesperson for Bechtel.
