Bechtel Named Top U.S. Contractor for 13th Straight Year

2011 Marks the 13th Consecutive Year of Recognition

SAN FRANCISCO, May 11, 2011 — Bechtel Corporation has been named the top U.S. contractor in 2011 by Engineering News-Record (ENR), a leading publication for the engineering and construction industry. This marks the 13th consecutive year that Bechtel has ranked first on ENR’s Top 400 Contractors list.

“The ranking is a reflection of our employees’ dedication and their commitment to always deliver for our customers by effectively and efficiently getting the job done right, no matter how big, how complex or how remote,” said Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Riley Bechtel. In addition to being ranked #1 on the Top 400 contractors list, Bechtel was also ranked on the following specialized lists:
