Livermore Lab Technology Cleans Superfund Site 100 Years Ahead of Schedule

Steam-cleaning technology created at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory was used to clean a Superfund site in California's Central Valley, finishing the job a century earlier than expected. The laboratory is operated by a team led by Bechtel and the University of California.
