Bechtel Corporation to Be Contractor for Western Integrated Networks, LLC

ugust 25, 2000—Bechtel Corporation announced that it has entered into a contract valued in excess of $1 billion to be the telecommunications network turnkey contractor for Western Integrated Networks, LLC ("WIN") for the installation of its broadband fiber-optic telecommunications networks.
